When my siblings and I were little, we had the coolest big brother ever. Ryan.
All of us have pleasant memories of playing train station with him. I don’t know if that is what we called it or not, but we all remember it. We all love it, and him so much, that we still talk about ‘the train’.
Let me explain…or attempt to—
My parents house at the time had hardwood floors in the hallways that led to each of our rooms, as well as to the front door. Ryan used to get a big blanket out, and we would all sit on it (me and my two younger siblings).
Then he would proceed to pull us (on the blanket) to the different stations (our rooms and the front door). We played this ALL the time. That was it. Simple but overwhelmingly and extremely fun.
So last week when I saw the boys doing this:
pushing the pumpkins to work on the train (my upside-down coffee table), I couldn’t help but be filled with warm fuzzies and warm memories. How I love my boys, and how I love my Sibs: Eric, Amy and Ryan….
Nothing like the good times.

So today, in preparation for the big V-day, we wanted to make sugar cookies, but I remembered I lent our Cream of Tarter to the neighbor, and had forgotten to get it back. Oh well. So we made cupcakes today. I forgot how HAPPY pink icing makes me. I usually don’t love frosting things, but I enjoyed frosting these cuppy-cakes just because of the pink cherry frosting. (I think we need to get more pink things in our house..hmmmm…) Of course, the boys ate all the cute ones with the Candy Hearts on top, before I could take the picture, but that is okay, they’re still pink. And Deilcious.
Hope your V day is as pink and Delicious as our cupcakes are…
Love you all!
No, not the princess pat, who lived in a tree, the princess Cat.
When Truman found out that Cat was coming down on her birthday, he insisted on making this beautiful Crown, with the words princess cat on it and his Aunt Cathrine was kind enough to wear it, the entire evening. What a nice aunt…
Truman made her a cake, and Tucker frosted it, by himself…(looks delicious, uh?)
We went to dinner with Mom, Dad and Cat, ate delicious pizza, and talked, and talked. Toph even got to talk some politics, which he loves, and I don’t think I do often enough as I should. I know he likes to talk about it.
It was so fun to Mom and Dad here too! Our house feels complete and warm with them here.
We are glad we got to spend your birthday with you Cat! WE LOVE YOU!!
Chillin’ with the Greene Fam…
The kids had a grand time, turning off the lights and being silly. We are lucky to have such good, fun cousins.
The wrestling match ups were Tuck vs. Ike and Belle vs. Tru.
I know it looks like Ikey is crying in the previous picture, but rest assured, he was just laughing, here is the next picture that was taken (Don’t you love that smile?):
A fun day to be together and enjoy each others company, and moms homemade chicken noodle soup. Delicious. Thanks Momma Greene, and the Greene Team. Love you Guys!
The new exhibit at the Children’s museum is Sesame Street,
we spent the day there on Saturday. There is nothing better than some family time together,
and of course, we love learning about the human body with the characters from Sesame Street.

And of course, Truman found the Motorcycle he loves ( I think we’ll try to take a picture of him on that everytime we go)..
We took an art class together, and built skeletons out of noodles.
Gotta love my artistic tounge..
Looking at the pets, in the art room:

I never get tired of this picture:
A fun, fun day, as the children’s museum always is…
I would paint a picture of this:
My boys have found a new favorite food. Grapefruit…
Thanks to Grandma and Cat for bringing it back to us, from Arizona (another reason, “I would rather be in Arizona”)
And of course an even bigger thanks to the LeSueurs, I wish we could grow some of those in our back yard!
Thank You, we are truely enjoying these beautiful fruits…hurray for citrus during our winter months!
So my sweetheart, is one smart cookie, with that smart noggin of his, he came up with a solution to my picture hording computer problem…
But first, last week I spent hours on the phone with a nice gentleman named William, from apple, who tried and failed to fix my computer dilemma, but failed miserably, informing me that the people who ‘helped’ me before, acutally didn’t help me at all, but in fact made at least 9 copies of every picture that I have in my I photo library. (which by the way is in the upper 25,000ish, so that times 9 is WHAT?!?!?!).
After the time I spent on the phone with him, Toph and I decided that we have a few options.
1-buying and installing a new version on Iphoto, Cost 100 dollarsish.
2-Buying a new computer (which we have been saving up to do anyways) Cost, a few thousand dollarsish
3-do nothing about it, and store all of my pictures on my digital camera. cost freeish, but yet, my inner soul asks for order this last option, is not really an option, I take WAY too many pictures for that one to really work!!!
So far, this last option is all we got, so I am uploading my pics to Tophs computer for now (a temporary fix)…. and for now I can re-join the Blog-o-sphere. Hurray!
Thanks Hubs!!!
Here is a few screen shots of Tuckers Conversation with Toph.
He discovered the emoti-cons, and LOVED it! I left the room, so it was so fun to come back and look at the conversation.
He doesn’t know how to type very many words, but you can see he typed messages, like I heart dad, and tucker. Mostly it is just faces though. How cute is he? Cute. (Tucker is ‘ME’, Toph is ‘Christopher’)
Isn’t Toph a patient father too? What a good man to take the time to make his son feel so special. I am lucky to be married to him, and the boys are lucky he is their father.
Leon (the previous homeowner) came to our house this week, and helped me figure out our Pellet Stove. Now it is up and going, and it is like a little peace of heaven, with it going! I stay toasty warm, and I LOVE that! It reminds me of sitting next to my Grandma and Grandpa’s stove at their house, as well as at the cabin. Just Warm, Cozy and Comfortable.
The boys love it too, they have been playing downstairs more (which is where there toys are), which is wonderful! I am not hauling toys back down the stairs to put way, so that is nice!
The other wonderful thing is :
My handsome hubba FIXED THE FLOOR!! It looks SO good! It is so nice to have fixed, and our kitchen mostly back to normal. We are so blessed to have a home, as much as I complain about fixing things, we are so blessed.
