Having a big brother who will hold your hand.
Month: August 2013
For Fathers day weekend, Toph headed up to the Phillips property on the river in Idaho, and Tucker got to tag along. Truman went and stayed with his cousin Owen and his family, and Tucker and Topher went up to do some work. I don’t know all the details, as I wasn’t there, but as you will be able to see from the pictures, they had a GRAND time!
Love, Love, Love my Toph and Tuck.
Eating in the Great Outdoors…
Tent Day
We made a list at the beginning of the summer, and something that Elliot really wanted, was a tent day.
(Elliot is explaining to me about the way I had set up the tent, and how I needed to move it back! You can see the seriousness in his face)
Honestly, it was so easy peasy, to make his wishes come true with that one! One day we set up the tent-we ate meals in there, read books, and played cars down the tunnel. He couldn’t have been more happy, and of course Lorelei enjoyed it too!
Library Class
Seven Peaks!
During the summer we went to Seven Peaks Water park weekly, but I never took my Camera or a phone, as I was always in the water with the kids, and worried about things getting stolen! So here is one of the rare shots of the completion of the fun of swimming!
(and the kiddos were cold, and had chlorine in their eyes, and we went late at night, so they were tired! Truman looks pretty tired! HA!)
Painting Bug/Treasure boxes.
Fathers Day Photo Presents
I found a fun idea on Pinterest, about making tie pins and key chains with pictures of the kids. So I took the opportunity to take pictures of the kid, and they did surprisingly well. The boys choose out their own outfits, so they would look nice. As I was taking pictures, I was watching them in amazement–it’s amazing how quickly they grow up. Almost seems like some days it’s right before my eyes.
Cul-de-sac Party
Hanging Out with the Huff’s!
Right after Owen’s Birthday Party, we got to spend more time with more cousins! The Huffs stopped by on their way home from vacation, and we got to spend more time with them! They got to spend the night at our house:
Kids look darling when they are sleeping! All the boys:

Then the following day, we played and played and played, following which we to a splash pad/playground:
Doesn’t this picture make you laugh?
All the Kiddos, Huffs and Phillips
And afterwords we found this snow cone place, where they had GINORMOUS snow cones.
Cute little kiddos, sitting at the cute little tables:
After the snow cones, It was time for the Huffs to head home. But luckily, Owen got to stay at our house for a few more days!! How we love family coming to visit and play!
