Here is how many people share the same name as us — in theory, after entering Tuckers Name, I am not too sure! 🙂

Hey Sweetie-
I was looking for scripture mastery youtube videos this morning and came across this:
Thanks for being my – thanks for being my Disney girl!
Toph
me: What girl doesn’t want to be a disney girl?!?! Thanks honey, love you!!
For those of you who haven’t heard, our church has recently released a new branch of its website, that has disability specific information, to help make our church more accessible to people with disabilities. Christopher has served on a committee to help create and launch this information, I know that he hopes and prays it will be a great resource to those who need it, and after reading it, I know it will.
Here it is.
So, I love three day weekends, that end with Mondays with NOTHING planned.
It is so much fun to relax together all 4 of us, as a family, not trying to squeeze too many things in. We didn’t do anything overly exciting, but it was a great day for our family of four.
All Tucker wanted to do on Monday was decorate the Robot Track with Treasures, and make a movie. Easy to do! Here it is:

Toph and the boys shoveled and played in the snow. (Yes, Toph created a gigantic sledding hill in our front yard, that doesn’t look so gigantic in this picture).
Getting warm with Hot Cocoa
While the boys were having quiet time, I had some creative time, making fridge magnets for our big Relief Society lesson this week, I love having time to be creative and having a creative outlet…
Of course what is a good day without a good read?
In my quest for better FHE treats, we made Chocolate Cupcakes (as per Tru’s request, Chocolate a boy with my tastes)…
More delicious and more fun, YES!!!
Less Messy, NO!!! (let it be said, that I did tell him he could lick the bowl clean, but this is NOT what I meant!)
I Love You, All 3 of my Sweethearts, But especially thanks to Hubba for making it a great weekend, spending time with you makes me wish every weekend was a three day weekend. *Muwah*
Last month (as you can see in a previous post) our dishwasher broke. We have been washing dishes by hand, and Tucker and Truman LOVE it (Toph likes it alot too actually…) There is something about bubbles and a sink full of water that children can’t resist. Someday, when we do get a dishwasher, I think that the boys are going to miss playing in the sink, and helping me with dishes. Knowing that it won’t last forever makes this task do-able for me, but not enjoyable, but of course what mother isn’t going to enjoy having her boys happy to be standing by her side? None that I know!
(Don’t worry, we don’t usually let Tuck wash dishes like that…)
As fun as it is, I still do need a dishwasher. I am a modern woman, who misses the modern conveniences of washing dishes while I sleep at night, or even better BLOG 🙂
Toph found this video, our boys and I all love it, both the song and the video. Enjoy.
I love chidren’s books. You could probably guess that about me if you ever came to my house, and saw the overflowing shelves of Childrens Books in my basement.
Truman has been in a phase lately that reminds me of one of the first children’s books Toph gave me, Titled, “My name is Hannah”.
It is about a little girl, whose mother calls her names like “silly monkey”, “pumpkin”, “sweetheart”, etc. and everytime she responds, “My name is not _________, its Hannah”.
Truman has been re-iterating a similar statement to Hannahs, only instead of saying “I’m Hannah”, he says, ‘I’m Human”. Only he doesn’t pronounce it Human, he pronounces it “YOU-man”. I love it, I hope this phase lasts a LONG time, because it makes me happy that Truman knows he is Human.
The day finally arrived. The much anticipated Robot Birthday Party! Tucker had a vision of the party, and I think it turned out pretty similar to what he had in mind. It is fun that he is getting to the age now, where he is totally into planning parties. He is always planning parties for his pumpkins (stuffed animals), poochies (robot dogs), or some other type of friend. So it was fun for him to plan his own, invite real people, and have a good time.
His Guests who were able to attend included: Andy, Andrea, Annabelle, Austin, Hinckley, Ikey, Jarett, and Truman.
We couldn’t have done it with out the help of grams and gramps, Aunt Amy, and Uncle Ryan who assisted in the clean up, crowd control, and so many other things! Thanks again guys!
We started the party by making Robot Bags,
Then went on a robot search to find the hiding robots (you can’t have a robot party with out the robots!)
Then downstairs for a robot obstacle course
Then a game of Robot says (simon says) that the kids didn’t actually really get….
Then back upstairs for Lunch…build your own robot sandwiches,
Then back downstairs for Robot Pinata
Then back upstairs for Cake (that Tucker Designed himself), Ice Cream and Presents
Then Lastly, Robot Nuts and Bolt Trail Mix for the Road.
Can you see why we were so grateful for all the help that was given?
The party was full of different activities, and we had a FANTASTIC TIME! I am grateful that there is a year inbetween birthday parties. We’ll have to wait and see what next years party will be?!?!
