Sunday is such a fun day….I love when it works out so we relax and play together as a family. Tucker got out the Legos and Truman found the puzzles.
Now that our church starts in the early AM, I have a feeling, there will be more of these afternoons!

At Tucks school, they pass around a binder. The News and Weather Binder, is an opportunity for the children to act as “reporters” and to report about things they see as news. Well Tucker says he is a “Lucky Ducky”, because he got to bring the Binder Home.
Here is what he dictated to me, the news:
“On Monday we went to the fair and we saw a robot named Seamore. We saw a giant dog, we saw horses, pigs, sheep, cows and goats. We went down a giant yellow slide, I got lots of ice-cream, and I got to meet the Dairy Princess. We saw a bus ride that went up and down. I had lots and lots and lots of fun.”
What a great summary, here are a few pics from the fair..(Unfortunately the camera battery went dead, before we got more pics with the kids and REAL animals.)
Gathering Eggs:
With the sheep…
Planting Seeds:
Future FFA Tucker…(I thought it looked more like Harry Potter, but whatever…)
Feeding the Fake Cow…
\
Milking the Cows:
cute…
After gathering the food, they were off to the market… (I would TOTALLY buy fresh produce from kids who looked crazy like this… )
How many Horse Tall Are YOU?
Bailing the Hay, and taking the Tractors for a spin:
Seamore a real life, talking Robot….Tucker was in Heaven.
Tucker saw his shadow, and was making it into fun shapes, including a T:
They had stuff for sale in booths all over, and Tucker saw big fleece blankets, basically a HUGE THESEY:
It was a fun night, we met up with the Greene Crew, and we loved seeing all the animals, and the big yellow slide.
WE LOVE THE FAIR!!!

As Said By Tucker….
When Christopher and I were Dating, he gave me some rocks.
It is a long story, and at the time it was romantic and wonderful. They are special to me, so I keep them in my jewelry box. And look at them when I change my jewelry.
Well, Tucker, saw them last Sunday, and wondered why I had rocks with my jewelry. I explained, and then the next day I found this on my pillow.
Looks like pretty soon, I am not going to have a place to store my jewelry, as I am going to have so many special rocks that need a special spot.
First Day of School
Today, the first day of school for Tucker.
He woke up, and was anxious to get to school. Lucky for us, Tuck is in the morning class, and he only had to wait until 9.30. But those 3 hours seemed like forever, and my sweet 4 year old does not get the concept of time.
So we filled our morning with other activities, including taking pictures:
He is Four Years Old and Handsome:
I can’t believe I have such a grown up and intelligent child:
Sweet Brothers
After a morning of activities, It was time for school.
Here he is going in: (by the way he ran in and didn’t look back. He was ready to go, and didn’t care when we left…)
Coming out, we lined up his pals, Andrea, Austin and Tucker:
Playing at the Playground after class:
He learned a new song(…uh maybe…)And, oh yea, watch Trumans smile at the end. Priceless.:

When Christopher called Tuck to ask him about his first day, his reply was:
“I didn’t get hurt and I didn’t get in trouble”.
I hope every day of his school years, can come home with as good of a report. But I think that is wishful thinking, no child is perfect, and I am grateful for one day of such good news.
I love when school starts, because that means cheap school supplies.
Needless to say the past week or so, we have painted, colored, started a robot book, glued, traced, cut, and any other arts and craft type thing that excites a 2 and 4 year old. I love the smell of new markers, and I get excited just thinking about the fun we will continue to have.
Did I mention that Tucker and Truman painted with watercolors for 1.5 hours the other day? Another reason new supplies make life better.
