I went and got my hair cut and I love my new hair doo….
It is good to really take time to feel like a woman every once in a while!
(unfortunately, this is the best picture out of all the ones I took of myself.I must be pretty confident in my self to post a picture like this, because I Know I look kind of creepy looking over my glasses like that!)

Spontaneous Combustion
So Yesterday I was making dinner, and Truman wanted to help. I love when my kids want to help, because they are more likely to enjoy dinner when they help make it. So I sent Tru to the bathroom to wash his hands. 5 minutes go by, I was busy cooking and then I realized Truman had not come back.
This is what I found in the Bathroom. (by the time I got the camera, and turned off the water, the bubbles went down SIGNIFICANTLY)
When I asked Truman what happened, he responded…
“I don’t know it just exploded”
Note to self, don’t leave Truman alone in the bathroom with the soap.
As Said By Tucker….
When Christopher and I were Dating, he gave me some rocks.
It is a long story, and at the time it was romantic and wonderful. They are special to me, so I keep them in my jewelry box. And look at them when I change my jewelry.
Well, Tucker, saw them last Sunday, and wondered why I had rocks with my jewelry. I explained, and then the next day I found this on my pillow.
Looks like pretty soon, I am not going to have a place to store my jewelry, as I am going to have so many special rocks that need a special spot.
First Day of School
Today, the first day of school for Tucker.
He woke up, and was anxious to get to school. Lucky for us, Tuck is in the morning class, and he only had to wait until 9.30. But those 3 hours seemed like forever, and my sweet 4 year old does not get the concept of time.
So we filled our morning with other activities, including taking pictures:
He is Four Years Old and Handsome:
I can’t believe I have such a grown up and intelligent child:
Sweet Brothers
After a morning of activities, It was time for school.
Here he is going in: (by the way he ran in and didn’t look back. He was ready to go, and didn’t care when we left…)
Coming out, we lined up his pals, Andrea, Austin and Tucker:
Playing at the Playground after class:
He learned a new song(…uh maybe…)And, oh yea, watch Trumans smile at the end. Priceless.:

When Christopher called Tuck to ask him about his first day, his reply was:
“I didn’t get hurt and I didn’t get in trouble”.
I hope every day of his school years, can come home with as good of a report. But I think that is wishful thinking, no child is perfect, and I am grateful for one day of such good news.

Happy Happy Birthday Christopher
So Yesterday was my Sweethearts Birthday.
Here are reasons why he is the best-est spouse ever…
-Christopher loves all food, and loves to try different types of food.
-If you look in his closet, it consists of neutral earthy colors and Plaids.
-He occasionally will play a game of “Age of Empire” until he wins it.
-He has more kindness and compassion, and level-headedness than anyone I know.
-If we are at home together as a family, you can bet that the kids are in the same room as him, and that they will follow him from room to room.
– He can build Lego Rockets and Lego Robots like no know one I know.
-He always smiles, and goes along with my crazy ideas, like repainting the ceiling white.
-The kids always ask for him first.
-When he is thinking really hard he will bite the inside of his left hand, and he thinks so much he has big calluses at that spot.
-No one knows better how the read the Junie B. Jones books, in just the perfect voice.
-Is willing to learn how to build a treehouse, even though he has no idea how to do it.
-Loves garden fresh food, esp. Tomatoes.
-Is DANG Hansomer than any other man I have ever met.
-Doesn’t look his age.
I love you Honey, Happy, Happy Birthday.
I love when school starts, because that means cheap school supplies.
Needless to say the past week or so, we have painted, colored, started a robot book, glued, traced, cut, and any other arts and craft type thing that excites a 2 and 4 year old. I love the smell of new markers, and I get excited just thinking about the fun we will continue to have.
Did I mention that Tucker and Truman painted with watercolors for 1.5 hours the other day? Another reason new supplies make life better.
The Construction Countdown…
The City of Pleasant Grove has been installing secondary water pipes to all homes in the area. That means all of our roads have been/are being torn up to pieces, and we have been left with “Reverse Speedbumps” as my neighbor calls them. Don’t get me wrong, we are so grateful to have secondary water, It will be saving us a TON of money, but we are even more grateful that hopefully in the next two days, the holes will be filled in, and we can go back to somewhat normal driving habits, without worrying about getting stuck in the holes.
This morning, the men were working in front of our house, and 3 out of the 4 men were not wearing shirts. To which Tucker and Andy came to the consensuses that “There mom forgot to teach them to wear their shirts, but they did teach them to remember to wear their pants!”
To which I had to agree, It did appear that way!!
Like I said, we will be grateful when it is all done!
