SPRING BREAK: day two thru seven.

Spring Break. I had big plans, going and doing, and being together. I love spending time with my kids, and just couldn’t wait for this vacation to come!
But unfortunately, I got a very bad eye infection–that sent me to the E.R. (because my pupils wouldn’t dilate).

Where Christopher and I had a very expensive date, and I got quarantined to home. Therefore my children got quarantined as well! 🙁

So the remainder of the days were spent together, but not doing and going to the places we had planned! But we did get to be together.

So instead we did this:

Playing in the yard

The afternoon Toph had to drive me to the doctor (My vision was affected, and I couldn’t drive), he took the kids to a movie so I could rest. 4 kids by himself, at the movie theatre, and they all had a great time.

He also took the big boys to the pool on Saturday, something I had PROMISED the boys for weeks leading up to Spring Break that we would do!
Tucker was thrilled about Trying to Growing Triops

(Which 3 days into the process, Lorelei got ahold of and DRANK!!!! DISGUSTING! And Tucker was heart Broken. We’re planning on starting another colony soon….)
Thankfully, a tender mercy occurred on the last day of our vacation– the boys were starting to get cabin fever, so when a package arrived from my cousin Chad, who works for Hasbro Toy Company, it couldn’t have arrived at a more perfect time!
A box full of new toys!!! Let’s just say it was practically CHristmas Morning!

So not to many pictures, but we did spend lots of time together, reading, having wii competitions, lego building, card games, and etc.
Sometime life comes so fast and different than we expect…but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the ride! 🙂

Sorry about the eye infection spoil plans. That stinks! Glad you all were able to make the most of it. I’m so impressed that Christopher took all the kids to a movie. I don’t think Dan would ever be that brave. LOL
