This spring has been one of the best yet for our family. Allergies are not plaguing Christopher as much as usual, and the weather has been pretty delightful, allowing us to get out in the yard sooner and longer.
This resulted in a HUGE pile of tree trimmings that needed to be taken to the dump, but Toph suggested we burn them in our fire pit instead. Which I was like okay, but I had no idea, we were going from a campfire to a BONFIRE, when that discussion took place. I did not get any pictures of it. I was to busy keeping children safe, but let’s just say, it was VERY BIG, bigger than our fences, and singed our trees.
That night after the campfire, the big boys slept out on the patio. Truman made it until 4:30 and then got cold, and nervous, because he couldn’t see Tucker (Who had tucked himself inside his sleeping bag).
Love these boys and the adventures we have together!
For Grams, Gramps, Belle and Ikey.
Love this pic of all of the cute kiddos all lined up.
Grateful for all of those April Birthdays in our lives!
The day they brought down Scout, we got to hang out together, including eating pizza, and then going to Macey’s for Ice-cream!
Has begun. When we saw the signups at the Rec Center, the boys totally wanted to be part of it! And they have already learned so much, about the best ways to fish!
There are men from the County Fishing Club their to mentor the youth, and teach them so many things.
Tucker and one other friend were the only ones of the group to catch a fish this first week!
Can’t wait for the remaining 5 classes to see the adventures they have, and the fun things they’ll learn!
Not only has the sandbox been a huge place to be, but the back patio, has become the new favorite lounge space, and homework spot for everyone.
Love, love, love these kiddos, and the beautiful nature around us, and a home to enjoy it in! 🙂
Alright, so no one else calls her Jean Louise, but in my head sometimes I do. 🙂
So as if 4 kids wasn’t chaos enough, we have been ‘puppy-sitting’ this cutie, named Scout since Saturday. We’re hoping that if all goes well (And no one is allergic, etc.) she can become a permanent member of our home.
I have know puppies are a lot of work, but she seems to be like the energizer bunny! (Don’t be fooled by the fact, that most pictures, she is asleep. It’s because she’s asleep there are pictures! I have my hands full when she is awake!) She is just starting to get used to the noise, and busyness of our family, and learning how to sleep thru it all! And wow, She is a cute, busy little girl, but we love her already, even after 5 short nights of taking her potty.
She’s a Jack Russel Terrier, and we got her from Christopher’s Dad. And she is very smart. We’ve already trained her to stay in the kitchen, she only went potty in the house once yesterday, and she is pretty great with the kiddos.
Everyone has loved her from the start,
(Here is her arrival:)
but Lorelei has now become OBSESSED with the dog, and follows her around everywhere. We’re hoping that everything goes smoothly in transitioning into our home, and we’ll get to keep her. I know if that happens, it’s going to be a crazy year or so until we can get this puppy ‘raised!’ so wish us (ME) luck! 🙂
*And with that luck, let it be stated, that my blogging time will be cut down significantly, until we can get her trained! 🙂 *
So fun to watch this little girl, who nurturing just comes naturally to.

Having both sons and now a daughter, it is amazing how Heavenly Father sends us down with our individual roles, and tools to succeed.
Grateful for the tools I have been given, and this knowledge that my Heavenly Father loves me.
Who takes pictures of the back of her hair, after a hair cut, so I can recreate it?
I am not talented with my hair, so it always takes me a couple weeks to get my hair to look like my stylist, thank heavens for documentation.
The sandbox got tilled, and the toys were washed, and the Sandbox and Treehouse are now Open!
The kids already have spent so much time in there.
How I love this addition to our house! It’s amazing to me still, how the kids of all ages love it in there. 🙂
