Our first year playing soccer, and it definetly won’t be our last.
And at the end of the season, the boys LOVED it. We had great coaches, who really taught our kids the positions, technique and so many other great things.
The season lasted July through September, with one practice/one game a week, I took LOTS of pictures. I have narrowed it down to a few of my faves, it may seem like alot, but trust me, I’ve narrowed it down quite a bit!
Here’s the other half of my cheering section, some nights practice didn’t start until late, so I’d bathe Eli, PJ him up, and load him in the stroller, and we’d walk there. On the way home, he’d be asleep everytime. Gotta love those summer nights!
This is Trus’ pal Cameron. They were on the same team, and they were together alot on the field. They would hold hands or hug, so funny to watch them.
Tucker enjoyed playing Goalie during Practice, but never wanted to do it during the game!
Month: October 2009
Our trip to the fair in pictures.
W[e met up with both Ry, Tiff and Kids AND Grandma, Grandpa Phillips, and Dallin Paul.
Oh the fair, I wish you were here twice a year.
Catchy, Catchy, ketchup.
So we’re almost all the way better at our house. We had a bad cold, put me in bed for a few days, Toph in bed, and all 3 boys caught those bad germies.
I guess we’re horrible at NOT sharing…We need to get better at that!
A random post full of random pictures, that are all too good to not post. I am going to try to post and get myself all caught up! (Being sick put me behind a bit!)
A new cape for Tucker, he wore it everyday after school for a week, and jumped from couch to couch to couch for over an hour one day. Love that he seems so big, but yet moments like this, he is still my same old little Tuck.
Truman is loving dressing up right now, and I am loving his combos:
Rescue Hero (Cape) Pirate (Shirt and Dagger)
Knight (shield) Robot (Can’t see the robot grabber hand)
Robot (boxes on head and feet) Superman (Shirt)
Elliot is growing up too quickly in so many ways! Here he is, he loves to stand up at things,
And this table is wonderful, so many things for his little hands to keep busy. What a sweetheart.
So much more to come!
Uncle Matt’s Birthday
Hmm….
Sick Husband, Sick Kids, broken camera…
Not a whole lot of blogging going on around here right now.
A perfect time to take a little break.
I still have pics I took before the camera broke (And some from other people’s cameras), I’ll be back in a little be to share them, but until then, we’re getting ready for halloween! Take a look at this (You might have to come to our website to see it!):
WITH THE MONSTER MASH!!!
Good Morning,
A day of rest
With the changing of our church time (to the early morning block), comes more time in the afternoon to be together.
If I am lucky, Elliot will go down for his afternoon nap and I can convince the older boys to come and read books with me, while Toph is away at his Sunday Meetings.
And if I am really lucky, and I’ve chosen really, really good books that the boys like, we can read for an hour or two.
This is one of my new favorite things to do on the Sabbath Day! And I HOPE they will never, ever grow out of their momma reading to them!
S.A.T.U.R.DAY NIGHT!
After a hard day of working on Saturdays, occasionally we head to Macey’s and get ourselves some ice cream.
Good thing it’s at the end of the day, because some of us need baths afterwords (but don’t mention it to this guy, because sometimes the thought of it just ruins the goodness of an icecream!).
We like to party hard, can you tell 🙂
Truman loves when Elliot does this, and they both giggle up a storm.
At least once a day Truman asks, can Elliot lay on my tummy?
I know what’s coming, as they both get a little bit older. It’s called WRESTLING.
With wrestling, it doesn’t stop until someone gets hurt and starts to cry.
I like this much better.
