We got to meet the parrots, and check out books. A few words that I never thought I would say together in a sentence!
Elliot called it a ‘great Birdy morning’.
Truth.
One morning, the kiddos spent the day in a Marshmallow gun war.
Here they all are:
The big boys were pretty serious in the event, and we even sewed little pouches to hold the marshmallows that clipped to their pants. Their were marshmallows all over our yard, and when it got hot they started to melt. Ha. Ha.
The littles enjoyed stuffing their guns, and eating the fluffy sugary goodness.
So we are so blessed to have the BEST DAD EVER. Honestly, one day is not enough to celebrate this man! 🙂
Toph returned from Logan late the night before, and the kids were so excited to make him breakfast in bed. When I asked what he wanted, he mentioned he’d heard that Trader Joes had a really good chocolate croissants. Easy Peasy, I can do that! 🙂
And the kiddos loved the breakfast too. 🙂
Toph proudly wore all his tie pins, (Another good mark of a good dad 🙂 )
I had to speak in church, and I was very grateful for my husband, in sitting alone with all four kids. 🙂
He happily played an afternoon of board games,
Here are the happy Fathers’ Day Men of the ‘Greene crew!’
Happy Father’s Day to these men!
So, so, so GRATEFUL we have Christopher in our lives. So GRATEFUL for the father he is. How he loves his children, and literally can’t wait to be with us.
Happy Father’s Day CHRISTOPHER.
For Fathers day weekend, Toph headed up to the Phillips property on the river in Idaho, and Tucker got to tag along. Truman went and stayed with his cousin Owen and his family, and Tucker and Topher went up to do some work. I don’t know all the details, as I wasn’t there, but as you will be able to see from the pictures, they had a GRAND time!
Love, Love, Love my Toph and Tuck.
We made a list at the beginning of the summer, and something that Elliot really wanted, was a tent day.
(Elliot is explaining to me about the way I had set up the tent, and how I needed to move it back! You can see the seriousness in his face)
Honestly, it was so easy peasy, to make his wishes come true with that one! One day we set up the tent-we ate meals in there, read books, and played cars down the tunnel. He couldn’t have been more happy, and of course Lorelei enjoyed it too!
