Everyone wanted to help…
Elliot didn’t quite get the concept 100%
We were out of shovels so Lorelei used a broom,
And the big boys worked hard, helping me finish the job.
How I love these kiddods.
With the Phillips Family, it wasn’t planned, just spontaneous, it was a pretty fun Sunday Afternoon! 🙂
We had a fun time together.
Lorelei’s Speech Therapist recommended we do lots of activities with choices, so what could be better than deciding ornaments to put on a tree? She LOVED It, and so did Elliot.
He is really into cooking right now:
Cupcakes (he made by himself, and has done twice since then)
And home made ice-cream (made twice as well!)
Both times he ‘s gotten up early, gotten his jobs down quickly, so he could get started before school. 🙂
I think it’s partially due to the fact, that he has a sweet tooth! 🙂
It’s been a rough winter for Elliot. While ‘helping’ make some noodles for dinner, Elliot slipped and placed his hands on the hot stop top burner. I have never seen him cry so hard, or so much.
Thankfully we already had a babysitter, as we had plans to go to the Ward Christmas Dinner. We left the other kids with our neighbor, and headed to the instacare.
They got some pain cream on them, and wrapped them up good.
He felt much better knowing he’d get a toy at the end.
For over two weeks his blister continued to grow and swell across his entire hand. I think it was close to 2 inches off his hand, near the end.
Amy, Wayne and the Girls, brought over these glasses for him to use, since he couldn’t really use his hands:
(He loved them 🙂 )
Two weeks of twice daily wrapping and creaming, and gentleness, the blister popped. And thankfully he had some new skin starting to repair/regrow underneath.
This experience made me so grateful for the miracle of our bodies, and a Loving Heavenly Father who created them for us.
The boys were excited that they were able to dress up with their elf/santa hats! 🙂
Elliot and Lorelei loved watching! 🙂
This is Tucker and Truman’s ‘solo’ part, they are playing the shaker drums. 🙂 Tucker is on the top left third row from the bottom, third person in. Truman is on the left side, bottom row, fifth in. Sorry I was wrestling Lorelei while I was taping. 🙂
From the program:
This was there favorite song to sing at home:
And Elliot was happy in the back, dancing his little heart out:
So proud of these boys! They practiced weekly after school, and at home, I loved hearing them sing around the house.
Elliot on Lorelei’s Calico Critter Table…
I think he would have fallen asleep there, had his big brothers not burst thru the door shortly after! He loves it just as much as she does! 🙂
