A whole week where he gets spotlighted at school!

Monday: Poster about TRUMAN

Tuesday: 6 things in a bag to describe himself:
– Pokemon Cards (because he loves to collect them)
– A picture he drew of a soccer ball (because he loves soccer and drawing)
– A piece of yarn (because he is learning how to loom)
– A candy (Because he LOVES candy)
– A gameboy game (Because he loves screen time)
– A Hardy Boys Book (His favorite series to read, and he loves to read them with his dad)
Wednesday: Show n tell, we brought over his dog Scout
Thursday: Read a picture book to Class, he chose Interrupting Chicken. Here is part of the story, while he was practicing:

Friday: Bring a treat-Of course, it was Sour Watermelons. 🙂

Such a great kid, and grateful for any chance we have to celebrate HIM!

So it must have been a run around day, if she falls asleep during pizza and movie night.

And naturally it’s with her daddy that she cuddles and falls asleep! Because she loves him so much!

Truman earned another date with his Dad!

And it looks like they had a great time, doing some shopping! Sure loving them!

After cleaning the church on Saturday Mornings, our tradition is doughnuts!

And we enjoy them!

Every single one of us! 🙂

We were so lucky Friday night to have a quick visit from Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Cat.

And although we were all sad to have them leave, Scout by far took it the hardest, she WALKED adn WALKED and paced and paced, and whined and whined after he left.

It was a short visit, but so wonderful to be able to spend time together. Nothing better than family.

Is a busy, busy job. Add on wife and mother, and it becomes even busier!

With the busy schedule of ‘life’, honestly, dusting is one of the jobs that often gets moved to the bottom of my list, especially in the ‘extraneous’ rooms. My goal is to get the home deep cleaned by the end of March. I started this week in the office.
Before and dusty,

It felt great to repair and deep clean the bookshelves. I took everything off, repaired them, and dusted them. And put everything back on. By itself, it’s not that big of a deal, but while having two cute little helpers? Makes the job take a few minutes longer 🙂

I also was able to clean out my sewing table, (which I am hoping to paint Yellow as soon as it’s warm enough!) re-thread my surger (which is a BIG deal too! Even without my little helpers)

Such a productive day, I LOVE days where I can visually see my accomplishments.

This little girl loves MAKEUP.

While Toph and I were away last week, she found Aunt Amy’s lipstick, that was zipped up inside the bottom of her purse, and made herself pretty:

And then a few days later, she found my Mascara:

This little girl is going to give me a run for my money! She is so quick! And just LOVES makeup and putting it on. She’s always so happy with it on!!!

Wednesday Night is: Chicken NO noodle soup night.
Gather all the veggies from your fridge, chop them up while the chicken/chicken stock is boiling.

The Kids love it. and Every week thanks to our bountiful baskets, we always have variety!

Tucker was that one. He pulled out his Bionicles, to pose them, which he did…

While Tucker was doing this, Truman was of course wanting to participate, so he ran and got his Bionicles, and set them up for pictures….

Then of course, Elliot needed to participate, so he quickly made a Bionicle. They spent their Thursday afternoon, building away.

Love their creativity. Love. Love. Love.

Most of the time, we take out her elastics before bed, but sometimes, she wakes up with her piggies still in.
