Our current ward has a tradition of Missionary Month. This year, I participated as a YW leader, assisting activities, but not as much as in previous years, but we were still grateful for the opportunity we had to host a dinner for our ‘missionaries’ in training.

Here is Lorelei getting the muffin tin liners in for the cupcakes, she is always there wanting to help with everything.

I love the opportunity we have to have the youth in our home. This year we had two Elders who shared a good lesson about understanding and taking time to understand the scriptures. Our boys remember who ‘our missionaries’ are, they watch for them at church, passing the sacrament, and it swells my heart with gratitude that they can look for examples around them, and ‘watch’ these older youth, who are making good choices.

What a blessing it is to have the gospel in our lives.

Finally find the time to repaint the office, and then doing it in the wrong color. Seriously Emily?!

It may have taken me over a week with a torn up office to complete this project, with all of my mistakes with the paint….Oh well, I guess it was my subconscious telling me that I should be spending more time with my paint brush. 🙂

The last few weeks, Scout has had the opportunity to visit the elementary school, TWICE (once for Tuck and once for Tru). She loved every second of the attention, and all the excitement. And was very well behaved once we got to the classroom.

To get her energy out before we got to the school, we walked the long way there.

It has been a long winter and the little kids loved being able to get out and run on a beautiful day.

Love this little family.

Loves to sing princess songs, Play princess dolls, Read princess books, talk about princess, color princess pictures.

And I might just be loving every second of it. 🙂

Can be crazy, trying to get everyone to bed, they’re tired, and often times, I’m tired too. But do you know what makes me feel better?

Seeing these cuties in their footsie jammies sliding down the stairs! I am a lucky mama.

A perfect way to spend the morning, hiding, eating lunch and reading books.

Occasionally we have a Sunday not full of meetings, and running, and this was one of them.

This Sunday was one of them! 🙂 So the boys were thrilled to know we had time for a Science Experiment, (we got a present at Christmas from Aunt JoAnna, full of AWESOME experiments) This day we were making Elephant’s Toothpaste:

And some pics, they played and played and dyed and mixed, and stirred and experimented for quite awhile afterwords. 🙂

And anyone who knows her, knows she travels with sunshine. And who doesn’t want sunshine in their lives?!?!
