One of the first things the kiddos wanted to do this summer was have our family dinner over the fire and sleep in the treehouse.
We had a fun time singing songs around the campfire:
Cooking and eating our hotdogs and s’mores:
Sleeping in the treehouse.
When I went to go check on them at 10 pm, Tucker and Scout were cuddling and reading, Truman was out. They both were pretty happy and excited to be out side!
The first week of summer started off with a bang, and some good old fashioned fun with cousins. They got to be with us for a few days, here a picture of a few of our adventures:
Playing hard, usually means bandaids are involved right?
Dress Ups:
Hours spent building this multi level intense train track and station:
Water Party:
Sponge Stacking
Pool splashing:
Drying off and popsicles:

Shopping at the store (which, with 6 kiddos was an event! I couldn’t believe the looks I was getting from people, it’s only 6 kids people!)
Lots and Lots of Time playing in the tree house:
Made Ice Treasure Cubes:
Loved seeing quiet time/homework time, so cute!
Eating and Playing outside:
So blessed to be close enough to family to spend time together!
The first weekend of the summer, and we had two very important things happening.
Baby Jonathan’s Blessing in St. George and Erics Graduation in SLC. There was no way we could be in both places at one time, so we split up. Toph took the kiddos to St. George to be with cousins, and I stayed in SLC for the graduation.
Below are the pics of Toph, the kiddos and the Phillps Clans’ adventures together in St. George.
Cute kiddos driving down together:

Cute Issac:
Lorelei (with her new cowgirl boots from cousin Emy! and what goes better with a swimsuit than cowgirl boots!)
Swimming at the town pool:
And after a busy, busy day, a video of Lorelei waiting in line to get Icecream…or more accurately, falling asleep!
And a hike to the Slot Canyons
And a little walk around the neighborhood where Cat got an awesome Condo:
On the way home, Cat’s car broke down, so Toph got to drive with Patrick and Grandma for a bit!
Hurrah for baby Jonathan!
Beautiful Becca with her handsome son! Thanks for the pic Emily Huff
Uncle Eric Graduated from school with a double Masters Degree (WOOT! WOOT!) and so to celebrate, we all got together and ate Sushi (Erics favorite food!)
Here are some pics from the event!

The kiddos were pretty cute:
Group Shot:
What a great way to celebrate Uncle Eric, we LOVE him!!
I am CONSTANTLY finding pictures on my phone, and one of the kiddos favorite subjects as of late is Scout. Usually she is posed just like this. How the kids love this dog!
For summer, I decided I needed a double stroller to keep up with the big boys on their bikes. I know it’s just going to be a short time before Elliot can ride his own bike with the big kids, so we didn’t want to spend too much, but we have LOVED going out together with the littles in the jogging stroller, the bigs on their bikes, and me with my rollerblades. It’s been a nice way to be active, and get around, and honestly stay up with the big kids!
We love living close to a pond. The boys got up early to go fishing, and Lorelei and I joined them later…
And soon enough the littles had found the beach, then the water….
A video of Truman trying to cast into the wind:
It was a great morning, followed by a movie with the Greene Family–“the Croods”. A great day.
