Breakfast at the school, and a chance to visit the book fair. Never a dull moment. 🙂
Month: February 2013
The boys both got good reports at Parent Teacher Conferences, Tucker got reminded again about how important it is to listen to teachers all the time, even when he thinks he already knows the answers. And according to his teacher Truman is the ‘ideal perfect student’. So great to hear.
And another pleasant happy surprise? Tuckers Diamonte
(A diamante poem is made up of 7 lines using a set structure starting with one subject and ending on another) Toph and I smiled and giggled when he made a Diamonte about us.
How lucky we are to be his parents.
Hot Cross Buns.
Tucker has recently been given a recorder for music at school. He was so excited to come home and practice and practice and practice.
Pretty soon Truman wanted in on the action, so Tucker gave him a few piano lessons, and they worked together to preform this:
Awesome boys.
It’s a take-over!
The bionicles almost all got completely put together, and slowly over the week, they filled my kitchen table. (This is only 1/2 of them)
The boys are so funny about about making sure they don’t get ruined once their built. Placing them very carefully in a designated spot. 🙂
Effective Car Stopper
That’s our Scouty. 🙂 Catching all the cars:
funny, funny dog.
Primary Talk
Truman did a great job, and here he later that afternoon reciting his talk 🙂
Aunt Cat’s Birthday!
We met in SLC at the art museum, and has some yummy bbq afterwords.
And we even did a little dancing! 🙂
Happy Birthday Cat, we love you! 🙂
Muscle Man
So strong it hurts! 🙂
I love his cute little grunting as he is, trying so hard! 🙂
Homework
Every school day there is homework. Fourth graders do math, reading, handwriting, and spelling on a daily basis. Tucker is very good about completing it, with out complaining (most days), lately I’ve noticed he turns on some music on his Ipod(current favorite is ‘Owl City’) to help him get it done quicker.
Grateful for a hard working boy!
Happy 100 Days!
It was a party day at school, full of participating in ‘100’ activities.
This hat hat 10 crazy strips, and on each strip was written 10 different things, for a total of 100 things. It was pretty cute, and Truman was pretty proud of himself!
