My dear Grandpa Greene. We knew it was coming, and I feel it was a great blessing and a great honor that I got to be at his bedside during his final days, but nothing can prepare you for the empty-ness that comes when someone you love passes to the other side.

Heaven is a brighter place today, Not every girl is so lucky to have a Grandpa like mine. He is a kind, loving, gentle, generous, thoughtful, considerate, sweet man. I miss you already Grandpa, but so glad you’re in a better place, free from your old body. Thank you for your listening ear, you kind words, and great example to me and my children. I love you.
Some of my favorite pictures of my Grandpa Greene, or as the kids knew him, THE Great Greene.
Amy and I were given the honor of being able to speak at his funeral about favorite memories, we all had so many, here is our talk.
Pictures from the beautiful Service: ( I don’t know why they are in reverse order, but I’ve tried to change it twice, with no luck!)
And a few videos.

As before mentioned, one of favorite events as Grandchildren was chuck’a’rama with Great Grandpa, so that night we went there in his honor:
God Speed Grandpa, thank you for being the first Gentleman of my life.
