On Thanksgiving Morning, at the Zoo, there is a BIG PARTY! Who Knew?!?!

And you get to go around seeing the animals eat their special meal out of pumpkins. 🙂

The Elephants were totally my favorite animals. They were so cute smashing the pumpkins.

Amy still had a hurt foot, so the kids all got to take turns riding with her in her mechanical chair! They loved it.

AFterwords we had a parkinglot party with cupcakes and hot cocoa, and Lorelei opened her presents there! It was so much fun, and a great way to warm up.

I think we may need to make this a yearly tradition!

And I couldn’t help notice how similar these two cuties looked:

We had a birthday lunch with my high school friends, and Lorelei liked the cheese fries, and fell asleep on the way home:

WE played babies all day long, then picked up dad from work, and headed to Costco for dinner:

Such a cute girl…

Every Year we make ’em, by tracing hands and making them into turkeys!

Tucker even made one for Scout, and instead of a turkey, he made drum sticks. So creative.

Then we hang them up, and see how big the kids have gotten and are getting!

Occasionally we set up a card table and get out a puzzle. Some people in the family are more ‘puzzlers’ than others.

Lorelei likes the idea of crumbling pieces, and swiping puzzles off the table. 🙂

Or maybe socks in the p.j.’s. 🙂

Some pictures I just see, and feel deep down inside, that I have a beautiful life.

While Truman was working hard making his barrettes, Lorelei and I sat at the counter and supported him, and took pictures.

What a beautiful life.
