A small reason I love volunteering at the kids school, is being able to walk up and down the classroom halls, and see the creations on the walls. Outside Tuck’s classroom, there was some new creations. I stopped to look. The students had used the word ‘WINTER’ and chosen a word to go with each letter, for example, one girl had done this:
W Wonderful
I Ice
N Never warm
T Terrific
E Exciting
R Rad
And then I saw Tuckers:
HA! I laughed out loud. That must be what winter means to him. And I really believe that it must be a boy thing, to describe winter this way! not to often you hear girls running around yelling ‘Noogie’ right? 🙂
