My little Puddin’

So, one night, I was starting on a migraine, so I went to bed early, like 5PM early! And Toph took over the parental responsibilities. And this is Lorelei enjoying dessert of pudding.

The video KILLS me, as you can totally see her little tongue licking out the bowl! What a cutie!

Truman my little poet…

Leaves me the SWEETEST notes. Ever.

I may have cried when I read this note.
To the worlds best mom.
From Truman.
I always wanted a mom like you.
You made a lift in my heart.

Love this kind hearted boy!!

Another reason I love having a daughter

The insistence that baby dolls must come into the highchair for snacks.

Happy-iestThird Birthday Day Elliot!

Full of many special things,

Including Birthday Donuts in his birthday suit
(No video included for obvious reasons!)

Mom and Me class, and sharing treats with friends.

Making his birthday Cake
(He wanted to make it by himself, and didn’t want the squinkies (That I had bought, with visions to make a magnificent cake), he didn’t want the squinkies to get in the cake, so he found this ‘boat’ and put them in there!)

Then off to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate and eat dinner and open presents with the family!

And the night ended with another gorgeous rendition of Happy Birthday! And CHAOS! πŸ™‚

And I had to add this picture:
Elliot’s presents this year were all dinosaurs and squinkies…and here is his present from Grams and Gramps. I love Trumans’ reaction! So cute!

Love you Elliot!

Happy Third Birthday Elliot!

If goodness and love made a person glow, Elliot would be iridescent in the light.

This easy going little boy has rocked our world. He brings so much happiness to our family, and had truthfully learned the fine art of being a big and little brother.
He has just discovered imaginative play, and can often be found, playing squinkies by himself
(He loves those little friends!), he loves taking care of things, and especially loves to do things independently, and being ‘big’!

I love watching him learn and grow and get bigger every day!

WE love you Elly-belly! Happy third Birthday!

Tucker’s 9th Birthday!

After a lot of good birthday party choices, Tucker narrowed it down to a breakfast Pokemon Party.
Here are the invites Tuck made by himself

Tucker made the menus. (As with many of the other details of the party!)
He named all the food after Pokemon Animals. So Awesome.

We played a few pokemon games–did some pokemon training stuff!

Tucker and I made this cute sign, he did all the pokemon drawings:

Had a piñata. That Tucker made to look like the Zappos Pokemon.

Sang Happy Birthday

Ate Pokemon doughnuts (each doughnut had a plastic pokemon guy on top, you can kind of see it, in the top right corner)

(They were a big dye mess! I am sure the parents loved me!)

Open Presents, and had a great time.

A great morning! and a great friend party!
(thanks to Toph, my parents, and Ry and Tiff who helped with all the behind the scene stuff! I couldn’t have done it with out your help!)

Then off to Logan, where we celebrated with a delicious New Years Eve Dinner and then sang happy birthday to Elliot and Tucker…

A great day I think!

I’m just going to chalk it up to him being a boy…

A small reason I love volunteering at the kids school, is being able to walk up and down the classroom halls, and see the creations on the walls. Outside Tuck’s classroom, there was some new creations. I stopped to look. The students had used the word ‘WINTER’ and chosen a word to go with each letter, for example, one girl had done this:
W Wonderful
I Ice
N Never warm
T Terrific
E Exciting
R Rad
And then I saw Tuckers:

HA! I laughed out loud. That must be what winter means to him. And I really believe that it must be a boy thing, to describe winter this way! not to often you hear girls running around yelling ‘Noogie’ right? πŸ™‚
Funny Boy.

Happy 9th Birthday Tucker!

Oh how fast time flies.

This sweet boy made me a mother, and had ‘broken me in’. He is such a joy, and a great big brother.
When he is gone, our home feels empty. He is constantly reading (He can seriously read like 5 times faster than me!), he is bold, loving, funny, and a very intelligent boy! He is the electricity that ignites all the children.

We are very blessed to have him, and can’t believe it’s already been nine years!

WE love you Tucker! Happy Ninth Birthday!

Christmas Break: Temple Square

Ater Thanksgiving Pointe, and before a Greene family dinner, we saw Temple Square,

We found the Albanian Paper Bag

Visited the visitor centers

Elliot took a little cat nap after all the busy festivities

And Lorelei was pleased as punch to be there-

We saw the lights (and yes, this is the best group picture of about 30)

And right before we had to leave, we met up with Grandma and Grandpa Phillips, and PAtrick and Dallin Paul.

Love that Grandma is smiling in the chaos! πŸ™‚

We went up to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to see the big view.

Christmas isn’t Christmas without a visit to the beautiful temple.
