The breakfast of our little Champion. (Crushed up of course!)
And of course, big brother is always willing to help.

Cheap Thrills…
Cousins, parks and pumpkinland.
After a long drive from Idaho, we were extremely happy when our cousins pulled up to stay with us overnight.
Becca came down with the two kids, and we are so glad that she did. The kids had a grand adventure playing together, and loving being cousins. They had so much fun, we commented on more than one occassion how much we wished everyone in the family lived closer so all the kids could play more often and be together all the time. They have such a good time together!
The day she arrived, was the day I discovered my camera was broken.
So I don’t have any pictures of the kids pal-ing around, 🙁
But trust me they had fun. Playing with toys, riding bikes around the cul-de-sac, going to the park (Becca took them while I was at a Doctors Appointment with Elliot), giggling away the night (Tucker WAS NOT happy about that, he needed his sleep apparently) and then we went to pumpkinland.
It wasn’t until Pumpkinland, that I remembered about Tuckers camera (our old camera). We pulled it out. It did the trick
of taking a few pictures that were not blurry, or snapped before everyone had moved. 🙂
Of course we had to stop and take pictures here:
Went through the lighted non-spook alley, then found our pumpkins.
As much as I hate the how far away we are from our family, I love when we get to have people come and stay with us. These are the moments of life that are the good stuff… All the rest is not necessary, but Family, that’s the best.
Thanks Becca for making such a long trip, by yourself, to be with us.
Hopefully you returned to a nice fixed dishwasher 🙂
Ten Months
They’ll give you rides all around the house in exchange for lots and lots of smiles and giggles.
TUCKER
TRUMAN
(And yes, Tucker and Truman dress themselves. Tucker is in a phase where the brighter the clothing the better, and he likes to group his clothes by function. The clothes he is wearing in the above picture are his sports clothes. They match because you could wear them while doing sports. And Truman thinks it is so funny to put his pants on backwards, he claims it’s easier to reach your pockets this way. CLOTHES…It’s one of those battles, I am choosing to let go. I keep hoping they’ll outgrow it! Because in so many ways it’s getting harder and harder to not fight that battle!)
Truman’s Fall Field Trip
To a local Farm and Pumpkin Patch.
We went through a Corn Maze
Met and Learned about the animals
(Truman spent awhile looking at the chickens)
Truman Jump
Jumped

His Little Heart Out
On the hay jump…
Picked out the perfect Pumpkin
Got a couple cute pics of Eli in the ‘Boston/Rockport Sweater’ from the grandparents
And what trip to a farm would be complete without a ride on a horse?
When Grams and Gramps are Away….
Eric and Attie come to play!!!
Grams and Gramps (and Amy) went on vacation, so we invited Eric down for dinner and game (World of Goo).
Now my children insisted that we call Eric everytime we get stuck or stumped at that game, because Eric is so good!
We had Attie for almost 2 weeks, and it was so funny to watch her change, she began to understand our schedule, and knew when it was time to go for a walk to pick up Tuck from School, or how she’d play catch for hours on end with Truman, and even cuddle with Elliot.
It felt like we had 4 children, as I was always worried about keeping track of Attie, but when she left, it was amazing how quiet our house seemed!
