A “Hubba-licious” Day.

I had the most delicious day on Tuesday, because…

I got to spend the entire day, with my hubba. My wonderful mother took the boys, so I could attend Tophs’ work sponsored broadcast, and luncheon. It is not often when I get to hang with Toph at his work for an entire day, and I must be honest, it was better than I had expected, in fact I would go so far as to say it was a FANTASTIC day.
This was the first time I had been to Tophs’ new office, and to really get to know his co-workers and their spouses a little bit better.
(For those of you who still haven’t seen Tophs’ office, here are a few pics:)

And here is a picture of Toph outside of his office, next to his name plaque. (Trust me, it does say Christopher Phillips. I know it is all blurry. This is because I had to take it quickly while no one was in the hall. I think it must be hard on a fellow to have an embarrassing wife who is always taking pictures of weird things…)

Some of the highlights of the day included:
Watching my husband be a real life Rescue Hero, (putting the broadcast up on the internet, because the other site was down) Thanks Sister Em for your help too, he couldn’t have done it with out You 🙂

A backstage tour of the Audio and Visual Department at the Conference Center:

I think I was trying to figure out what Christopher was doing when he took this picture, I thought he was just reviewing the pictures we had taken that day…
What a good combination, hubba and chocolate covered bananas. Yum.

Going back to the room where we had our wedding reception, over SIX years ago. The Empire Room.

I vividly remember the carpet for some reason.

Walking around Temple Square, the place where we were married, over SIX years ago!

And I won’t forget our casual “bump-in” with Elder Eyering–and my husband not noticing him. I guess that is a good sign CES employee?!
But the best part of this day was that it was full of our past, present and future.
